Infrared spectrophotometer features
According to the GB/T16488-1996 standard, the infrared spectrophotometer extracts the oil in the water with carbon tetrachloride, determines the total extract, and then adsorbs the extract with magnesium silicate to remove polar substances such as animal and vegetable oil. After that, the petroleum was measured. The total extract and petroleum content are all from the wave number of 2930 cm-1 (the stretching vibration of the CH bond in the CH2 group), 2960 cm-1 (the stretching vibration of the CH bond in the CH3 group), and 3030 cm-1 (in the aromatic ring). The stretching vibration of the CH bond) The absorbances at the bands A2930, A2960, and A3030 were calculated. The content of animal and vegetable oils is calculated as the difference between the total extract and petroleum content.
